RECENTLY SHIPPED
Landed in the last weeks
- New designs for the SovereignThree new ship designs for the Sovereign have been added. Designs change how the ship looks and are applied from the designs section of the hangar.
- Hangar expandedShips you acquire no longer replace the one you had — they stay in your hangar and you switch between them whenever you like. Entering the hangar now opens a ship selection screen; every ship keeps its own loadout, while your inventory continues to work as a shared pool.
- In-game command panelsHangar, Skylab, ApexGate, Clan, Profile, R&D, Leaderboard, Trade and Shop now open without leaving the game. The panels show exactly what the command center shows: drag them, resize them, and keep flying with them open.
- Interface scalingOn large screens the interface stayed small. You can now scale it between 90% and 150% from Settings → Interface. Text grows without blurring, and your saved panel positions are preserved.
- Enemy radar on the minimapOn your own company maps (x-1 and x-2) the minimap footer now shows five bars. Every enemy that enters the map turns one bar red; with five or more, all five light up. The minimap can also be resized larger and stays sharp at any size.
- Auto-refining (Premium)Raw materials that land in your cargo are refined into the next tier automatically whenever the recipe is met. Steel-Alloy and Titan-Plate are produced in balance, and once both are sufficient they upgrade into Osmium-X. Enable it in Settings → Gameplay; Premium accounts only.
- Steam launch is liveAbysOrbit is now on Steam. Our store page is live and the game can be downloaded through Steam. You can keep playing in the browser — same account, and both sides share the same universe.
- Translations completedAll in-game text is now available in 15 languages — top bar, hangar, Skylab, missions and system messages included. No untranslated strings are left in the interface. If you spot a new one, report it and we fix it the same day.
- Keyboard shortcuts are hereThe settings panel has a new Keyboard tab. You can see every shortcut and rebind it to any key you like; the defaults are unchanged. Slots now also work on AZERTY and other keyboard layouts.
- Company switching is hereYou can now switch your company from your profile. The cost depends on your level: 5,000 Orbidium up to level 8, 20,000 for levels 9-10 and 50,000 from level 11 — plus half of your Honor Points. To switch you must be logged out of the game and not in a clan — the panel shows each requirement separately. Once you confirm, you start at your new company's home base, and any ApexGate you prepared moves with you.
- Clans got biggerClicking a clan name now opens a detail panel: logo, rank points, members and who is online. You can write a short message when applying, and clan officers can read it. The leaderboard now has a clans tab too.
- Group toolsFlying to a member now draws a route line on the minimap. In ping mode you can click a member directly to mark their position. A member who loses connection no longer drops silently — the group is told.
- Ping displayYour real latency to the server is now shown in the top-right corner, with a colour band that tells you your connection quality at a glance.
- ApexGate fixesRemoved an invisible blocker that made some spots unclickable inside gates. Cloaking no longer works inside a gate either, which fixes NPCs being unable to react.
- Module names translatedExtra module names in the hangar and the HUD tooltips are now available in 15 languages. Previously the description was translated while the title stayed in Turkish.
- Skylab upgrade previewWhen upgrading the Base or the Storage Expander you can now see what you will gain: the new production and storage multiplier is shown. The other modules already had this.
- ApexGate wave pacingGate waves no longer pile up: the next wave arrives once half the current one is cleared.
- Combat performanceStutter during heavy combat reduced by 60%.
- Rubber-banding fixThe "pulled backwards" issue while flying at full speed is fixed at the root.
- ApexGate fairnessFixed losing gate lives and being ejected from gates on connection drops.
- OrbitBall eventTeam ball event: Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
- Chat & communityDiscord server launched; chat history extended to 7 days, stronger moderation.
- Skylab rebalanceSolar and production output rebalanced from the ground up.
- Quest system grew302 quests, group quest credit, and cancelling quests from anywhere.
Order shows priority; scope and order can change as development progresses. We do not promise dates — everything that ships is announced here and in the news first.
