R&D Reset Tickets

Silver and Diamond tickets dropping from ApexGates make your R&D reset free — and return the isotope you spent.

A new reward is coming for pilots who complete ApexGates: R&D Reset Tickets.

Why?

Resetting your R&D tree has always been off-putting. It gives your points back, but the isotope you spent on the tree was burned — and the Orbidium cost doubles with every reset. Most pilots never changed their build because of this.

Now there is a way around it.

Two tickets

🎟 Silver Reset Ticket — the reset is free and half of the isotope you spent on the tree returns to your Skylab storage.

💎 Diamond Reset Ticket — the reset is free and all of the isotope you spent returns.

Where do they drop?

They may drop, depending on your luck, when you complete an ApexGate. The chance rises with the gate's tier, and the diamond ticket is far more common in the upper gates — 16× more likely in Delta than in Alpha:

| Ticket | Alpha | Beta | Gamma | Delta |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 🎟 Silver | 2% | 4% | 6% | 8% |
| 💎 Diamond | 0.25% | 1% | 2.25% | 4% |

At most one ticket drops per gate completion. You will get a mailbox notification when you earn one.

How to use them

Your ticket counts appear in the top bar of the R&D page. When you click "Reset skills", the ticket types you own are offered as options — you can still choose the normal Orbidium reset if you prefer.

Tickets stack, so there is no rush. Because the reset cost doubles each time, saving a ticket for later is usually the better play.

Good to know

The isotope refund cannot exceed your Skylab storage capacity. You will see exactly how much you get before confirming. The more you have upgraded your Storage Expander, the more you get back; if your storage is already full, the refund can be 0.

Credits are not refunded, and the reset counter increases even when a ticket is used.

Good hunting, pilots! 🚀
