Choose Your Title: 14 Achievements Now Grant One
You now choose the title above your pilot name. Equip any title you've earned under Profile → Achievements, and if you're in-game it shows up instantly. Achievements you completed earlier count too.
Selectable titles are live on all servers, and the title that shines in yellow above your pilot name can now come from your achievements, too.
How to pick one
- Open Profile → Achievements.
- The My title strip, just below the category buttons, lists every title you own. Click one and you're done.
You can also pick from an achievement card: cards that grant a title carry a TITLE badge, and once you've completed one, just hit Equip. The Titles button shows all of them together. Prefer a clean nameplate? Choose No title in the strip. The same tab is in the in-game Profile panel, too.
Instant, for everyone
If you're in-game, your new title appears above your ship right away: no refresh, no relog. Pilots on the same map see the change instantly; everyone else sees it the next time they run into you. Everyone reads titles in their own game language: wear Nightmare, and a pilot playing in Turkish sees Kâbus.
Achievements that grant titles
- Nightmare — Destroy 10,000 NPCs
- Galactic Gravedigger — Destroy 100,000 NPCs
- Pirate — Destroy 100 enemy pilots
- Pilot Hunter — Destroy 1,000 enemy pilots
- Phoenix — Get destroyed 100 times
- Wealthy Pilot — Reach a balance of 10 million credits
- Lord of the Galaxy — Reach a balance of 1 billion credits
- Orbidium Hunter — Reach a balance of 100,000 Orbidium
- Orbidium Baron — Reach a balance of 1 million Orbidium
- Senior Pilot — Reach level 16
- Galaxy Veteran — Reach level 21
- Lord of Honor — Reach 750,000 Honor Points
- Skill Master — Reach 25 R&D points
- Lord of R&D — Reach 50 R&D points
If you finished the main storyline and earned Lord of the Abyss, it's waiting in your My title strip too.
Achievements are checked when you open the Achievements tab, and completing one that grants a title brings up a "New title: …" notice. For credit, Orbidium and Honor Point achievements, what counts is the amount you hold when you open the tab. Achievement titles are never equipped automatically; you decide when to switch.
New names
Three achievements got new names that work better as titles:
- No Rise Without a Fall → Phoenix
- Premium Pilot → Orbidium Baron
- Maximum R&D → Lord of R&D
Weekly titles
The weekly ranking has titles too. The #1 pilot in each category automatically wears that category's title for a week: Doombringer (NPC Damage), Angel of Death (Enemy Kills), Cosmic Storm (Experience) or Standard-Bearer of Honor (Honor). It shows up in your My title strip with the days left, and you can still switch to another title. You'll find the current standings and rewards under Ranking → Weekly.
