The Language Barrier in Chat Is Gone
Click the "translate" link next to a message you don't understand, and read it in your own language.
Pilots from all over the world fly on our servers. Sharing a map and running the same gate with people you cannot talk to was one of the most frustrating parts of this game. Not any more.
How it works
When you see a chat message written in a language other than yours, a small translate link appears right next to it. Click it, and the message turns into your own language. Click again and it goes back to the original.
There is nothing else to do. No setting to enable, no language to pick, no command to type. If a message is already in your language, the link simply does not appear.
Which languages
All 15 languages the game supports: Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Indonesian, Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
It works in global chat, company, clan and group channels.
Your privacy
Nothing is sent anywhere unless you click. Your pilot name and account details are never sent either. Private messages (DMs) are never translated — your private conversations stay between you.
Why we built it
Joining a clan, getting into a group, asking for help at a gate — all of it needs conversation. Too many pilots were locked out of that by language alone. Now it is one click away.
